“Make me fall off my chair,” my client said to us, in the winter of 2015. To us, that meant serious business.
It is not often that a client gives you carte blanche to astonish them first and worry about the details later. But that was the mandate. This client had a dream for a development property at his golf course, and his vision became our absolute muse.
Every studio has that one unforgettable project—the one that reveals what you are made of and shows you just how far your imagination can reach. I can say with certainty that this was that project for us.
Ten intense, inspired days later, we received an image of the client lying on the floor, his laptop beside him displaying the 3D rendering of the house—no, the masterpiece—he had been searching for.
Mission accomplished.
Then came the real challenge: reconciling this creatively ambitious, futuristic vision with the realities of construction. The project had exceeded not only the client’s expectations, but also what was within reach at the time.
Still, there was not a single regret in the creation and development of the home’s production drawings. The project opened the door to an entirely new architectural language for our studio—one we embraced and continued to refine through later creations, including Galleria and Infinity Residence.
What emerged from this experience was an unwavering belief in what we could offer: imagination has no limits. The only limits are the budgets we are given to bring it to life.
