My business partner and I have a lot in Vanier we wanted to explore building a multi unit rental building for our portfolio. We reached out to Houry as I have known her work as an architect over the years. She put together a comprehensive feasibility study for us. That process let us know about the changing zoning and what scale we could build helping us make the decision to build in a few years time when the changes are in effect. She was efficient and professional, and we look forward to building with her when we are ready.

Houry hosted our Women's Investor Group at her Ha2 studio in May 2023, and I was immediately impressed by both the quality of her work and the genuine passion she brings to empowering and connecting women.
As a Montreal native, Houry brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and insight to an industry that has traditionally been male-dominated --and well very "Ottawa". Houry did an incredible job designing a home for a family member. The space is beautiful, functional, and incredibly well thought out. Even now, it still stands out!

I had seen many of her projects and had always been impressed with her creative designs and fabulous details!
Last year, I attended the launch eve t for Houry's new Ha2 Architecture & Design headquarters on Preston Street and I was absolutely impressed by the transformation! She took what I remembered as an unremarkable red brick building and created an inviting, beautifully created space with thoughtful custom design throughout. The before and after images at the event really showcased the dramatic change.
I have no doubt that Houry can bring the same level of artistry and personalization to any client's project, whether it's a renovation or new construction.

When we decided to renovate our 1890’s built Hintonburg home in Ottawa we met with several architects. Houry stood out in that she understood we wanted to keep the charm of the old craftsman house while modernizing. Her portfolio showed that she could adapt styles to suit us and our home. She helped guide us through the process of choosing a builder to work with, and the full renovation process. Houry’s attention to detail, her ability to help us see what could be, as well as keeping true to our vision helped us renovate a falling down half story house into a full two story home. We are no strangers to large renovations and Houry is the best we’ve ever worked with. We would highly recommend her for any project.
