Infinity Residence

In every respect, our custom homes are conceived as originals. No two are ever repeated. Each one is a new act of exploration – a reinterpretation of form, light, materiality, and the emotional experience of dwelling. When these clients encountered our Ivory Doves residence, they were deeply moved by its quiet strength and expressive clarity, and asked us to create something that echoed its spirit without replicating it.

From that request, The Infinity Residence emerged – not as a copy, but as a continuation of an architectural conversation.

This project found its voice in the character of the site itself. Set along the Ottawa River, the land presented natural drama: shifting topography, long unbroken horizons, and the steady presence of water. As architects We listened closely to what the land offers. We allowed the orientation of the sun, the prevailing winds, and the gradient of the terrain to shape the architecture from outset. The house is not placed on the land – it is drawn out of it.

The residence is anchored by a covered carport – a grounding element, much like a vessel secured at its mooring. Inspired by the river, we turned to the language of naval architecture. The dark, grounded base is reminiscent of the water’s depth, while the white upper volume rests upon it with effortless poise. The extended, winged rooflines allude to the sleek geometry of a yacht – a sculptural expression of motion and grace, as if the house is quietly navigating the site.

At approximately 6,000 square feet, the home is designed for a family of five, including a main-floor in-law suite to support multi-generational living. The residence is organized around its namesake feature: an infinity-edge pool that dissolves the boundary between water and sky, architecture and landscape. Here, the home becomes both sanctuary and escape – a refined urban oasis that feels at once private, expansive, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
